After years of working in, with, and for Boston start-ups, co-founders Sarah Hodges and Dave Balter wanted to give back.
Inspired by how people learn through collaboration, they began hosting skills classes, bringing novices and experts together to share their expertise. Classes like Legal Land Mines (WilmerHale) and Improving Sales through Improv (Startup Institute) have helped over 4,000 Bostonians step up their game. From starting a new businesses to advancing your career, Intelligent.ly gives you the skills you need to win.
While working closely to so many Boston Start-ups, Sarah noticed how often individual contributors are promoted without the skills needed to succeed. In December 2013, she and Dave launched Intelligent.ly Exchange to help companies invest in their managers and, in turn, help ensure their companies scale with strong foundations. Over 20 partner companies agree: great managers aren't born, they're made.
Not long after launching Exchange, individuals started reaching out to express how much they too wanted to improve their management skills. So, once again, we listened and our Management Development Workshop Series was born.
Oh, and did we mention that Intelligent.ly is also one of Boston's biggest social butterflies? We believe a strong networks create strong leaders, and are proud to bridge connections with awesome events. Tech Prom, Tech on Tap, and the Boston Boogie...yep, we hand a hand in that.
